Last week we had an ice storm, mostly sleet and then topped off by a light dusting of snow. The kids missed 3 days of school and Ryan stayed home for 2 of those days. They had so much fun when we finally let them outside to play in it. I wish we'd get a real snow though. Jackson would LOVE to build a snowman. He fell in love with Frosty the Snowman this winter.
I had a great appointment today. I really love my new doctor and his whole office. I didn't have to wait at all...which is awesome at any doctor! I got another ultrasound and got to see the baby in 3d too. Very cool! He told me that I can bring dvd's to my appointments and he'll record my ultrasounds for me. I got to see baby 'jump' once. He/She now has arms and legs. We go back in 3 weeks and the kids will be going with...Avery can't wait to see.
Here are my pictures from today. Baby is still measuring 3 days ahead. HB was 176.
I just love this little guy! He is so much fun. I love that he's starting to talk more now too. He's starting to copy movie lines, just like his sister and daddy. It's so funny! He's doing really well in speech too and made his transition into the public school system. He is loving going to see Ms. Mary twice a week.
I think I may have mentioned before that he likes me to take pictures of his toys. Here are some goofy pics of him and Mr. Incredible. They are kind of blurry, we were in my dark room with no flash.
We had our first doctor's appointment yesterday. I'm seeing a new dr. now, it's actually Kelsey's Dr. too. He is great, very funny and nice. Everything went well and we got an ultrasound.
Here is our little bean at 8 weeks, measuring 8w3d....due date August 18th.
FINALLY this girl has learned to ride her bike. We took the training wheels off earlier in the year, I think early summer. She was too scared to learn and hadn't touched her bike since. Well this weekend she decided she was ready...It's always got to be on "their time" right?! She actually picked it up quickly. She hasn't really rode since Saturday and hopped on real quick to show Nana & Mike last night and did great, didn't even really struggle to get going. Now we need to work on turning and we'll be all set.
My pictures aren't that great. It was really bright out. It was such a beautiful day though, we hit almost 80 degrees I believe.
Well today is our last day of Christmas break. Daddy went back to work today. The kids go to school tomorrow. I've finally got my pictures downloaded and ready to post.
Christmas Eve We first went to Nanay's & Papa's for gifts with my family. Then we went toNanny & Papa's. Nanny had bought all 3 kids adorable Christmas outfits. We tried getting a picture of all 3, but Jackson wasn't having it.
Avery looks so much older to me in this picture...she's such a beautiful girl.
Christmas Day
On Christmas day we opened our gifts at home and then went over to Nana's and had a nice breakfast and more gifts. Then later that evening we went to Megan's. It was a great day!
I really didn't take that many pictures on Christmas morning. I think we have more video. Sorry... Here is Jackson in his Spider Man pj's though. He loves them. I bought the kids Christmas pajamas to open on Christmas Eve, like we've always done. I could not find them anywhere. Thank goodness the kids had gotten nice new jammies on Christmas eve.
Jackson has this thing where he loves me to take pictures of his toys. He shoves them up in my lens, I have to hold them back a little.
Grandma & Papa relaxin'
Avery waiting for presents at Megan's house.
but wait!! It's Santa!
Jackson was the first one to run to Santa. I think he actually went up there about 4 times to see him. Jackson loves Santa!!!
